HOW TO PLAY CHOPSTICKS
Guide · 2 Kodi ki Games
Chopsticks is a two-player finger-counting strategy game that needs no equipment, only two hands each.
PLAY CHOPSTICKS →The rules
- Each player has two hands and starts with one finger up on each.
- On your turn, tap one of your hands against one of theirs. Their hand gains as many fingers as the hand you tapped with.
- A hand that reaches exactly five is out. If it goes past five it wraps around, so a hand showing three, tapped by a hand showing four, becomes two.
- Instead of attacking you can split: move fingers between your own two hands.
- Knock out both of the other side's hands to win. You choose Easy, Medium or Hard for the CPU.
Tips from the team
- Never leave a hand on a count your opponent can turn into exactly five.
- Splitting is not a retreat. It is how you turn a weak position into two hands that are both hard to hit.
- Look one move ahead, then one more. Most losses come from a move that looks safe for exactly one turn.
- Keep both hands alive for as long as you can; a lost hand halves your options.
